JOIN US TO CELEBRATE DAISY'S NURSING SCHOOL GRADUATION
Our beloved Daisy is about to soar to new heights as she is graduating from San Jose State University this summer! After three years of caffeine-powered study sessions, numerous flip-desk moments and plenty of medical jargon to completely rewrite a much better season 20 of Grey's Anatomy, Daisy emerges triumphant with a shiny new Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. We warmly invite you to join us in continuing the celebration at Daisy's Graduation Party – an evening filled with joy, laughter, and memories in the making.
The graduation ceremony is set to unfold on May 24, 2024, at the Mission City Ballroom, Santa Clara Convention Center. This is more than just an academic milestone; it's a celebration of family, love, and the unwavering support that has guided Daisy through this journey.
Tickets are limited, so let's make sure our entire family is there to witness this special occasion. Please RSVP by February 15, 2024, to help us get an accurate guest count and plan a seamless day filled with joy and shared memories.

This is an open bar venue! A selection of spirits, wine, and beer available at no additional cost. 🎉🎊🥳

Door opens at 5:30 and we have the reservation for four hours.

After graduation, we will regroup as a family for group photos. We can then get Uber together to the dinner venue. if time permits, we can even take a quick stroll around the dinner area (it's nice!)

Food will be served family style. The food will be brought in one course at a time on a large platter. Each platter is all you can eat, so if you wish to eat all the appetizers, do so! Just make sure to leave some room for the main entrees. 😉

COMMUTE & STAY
TRANSPORTATION
The closest airport is the San Jose Mineta airport (SJC), which is located 10-15 minutes away from the convention center. Nevertheless, both the Oakland airport (OAK) and the San Francisco international (SFO) are well within 1 hour drive away. Traffic should not be a concern, as any of these airports have much better traffic than LAX.
The event itself will be held at the Mission City Ballroom, located within Santa Clara Convention Center (5001 Great America Pkwy, Santa Clara, CA 95054). Click on this link for parking garage directions (Google Maps).
ACCOMMODATION
San Jose is generally a safer city than Los Angeles (particularly when compared to South Central). Therefore, even the rougher areas will not necessarily be unlivable, given that safety measures are followed. Still, we have prepared a heat map to make your AirBnB booking more convenient. RSVP: Drop us a line with your RSVP, whether you're virtually cheering from miles away or planning to join us in person. Your response, or lack thereof, will be our guiding star for party perfection.
Gifts: While we truly appreciate your kind thoughts, please do not trouble yourself! Your presence is truly our present. 💕
Dress Code: You cannot go wrong with business casual attire for men and classy casual for women. Bonus points if your outfit is in the color of blue and/or gold (SJSU colors)!
Car Rental: This is Daisy's party after all, so the graduation celebration dinner will be an open bar venue. As a result, we recommend you utilize Uber/carpool for the big day.
